Chunk Of Ice Falls Off Mpls. Building, Crushes Car
A chunk of ice was seen falling from City Center in downtown Minneapolis on Wednesday afternoon. Witnesses said the chunk of ice fell right on the trunk of a Lexus parked at a nearby meter.
The ice went right through the parked Lexus’s back window.
Ouch. I really hope this wasn’t a situation where the guy was heading into a bank in downtown to make the last payment on his Lexus. I can just see him whistling a jaunty tune while talking to his wife on the blackberry…”Don’t worry honey, I’ll be out of here in fifteen minutes and then we get to start 2010 with no car payments!”
Ouch! You always have to be careful of falling ice, this can happen.
